Hi,
I have the b2j extension and it has been working fine. But from one day to another it will not save anymore. I find it quite incorrect that i need to buy another subscription to find the solution for this. It should be possible to read solutions for such things even if i dont have a current subscription. Can you help?

Hello,
Sorry, if it caused you any inconvenience, but this is our policy and we are not the only one who do this. We have mentioned it in our policy as well.
For your issue, you might be using very old version of extension. We have fixed many things including a security issue. You can check our change-logs at https://www.codextrous.com/changelog/b2j-contact.html . Such issue has been fixed in version 2.1.11.
We always recommend to have active subscription to get support and latest update.
Thanks

0Hi,
and thanks for getting back to me.
I understand that support is for the people that have an active subscription.
But not having an active subscription should not keep me from READING the forum where i can see if i can find a solution myselves.
You could keep me from posting, but not reading.
As long as i have bought this extension before, i think its not right to keep us from trying to read and figure out/read what others have experienced and solutions there might be regarding the same topic.
So at this point your extension is useless for my site. So my choises are to buy another subscription or i must find another extension. Honestly i find it really annoing that i must pay to read the forum, even if i dont have any wishes to upgrade the extension at this point. -

0Hi again,
In my opinion this is not a good way to do it, its not very customer friendly. I have used joomla for 10 years and bought a lot of extensions, and in my experience there are not many companies where i run into this situation not beeing able to read a forum.
So i had no choice other than buy the extension again cause i dont have the time to research for a new extension on a live site.
I know this is your policy and i have to deal with that. But i just want to tell you how this works from my point of view, and its unfortunately not in your favour.
