Hello, Is there anyway to display the events by the 'Finish publishing' date?

I am want to make an auction site where auctions happen on a specific date. Once the auction happens it is removed from the site (Finish publishing date) It would be great if the calendar listed the events by the Finish publishing date as the events would be viewable up to that date and then removed from the site...

Is it possible to have and option to display by 'Finish publishing' date?
